About The Event
Join us for this amazing temporary exhibition at the White Cube gallery to explore two incredible artists that have responded to a question that has lingered throughout the last century... how to depict the unspeakable. How do you to represent grief, trauma and mourning?
This class will guide you through different moments in art history, where artists have engaged with the problem of representation of traumatic events, the paradox of their representation and the fear of misrepresentation. You will understand wherein lies the importance of art to address these subjects, especially in our time, when we are constantly bombarded by them.
