About The Event

We have arrived to the moon, we are now connected in a matter of seconds and we have increased our population to more than 9 billion people. In this lesson you will learn how artists such as Tracy Amin, Jeff Koons, Damien Hirst, Antony Gormley, among others, reacted to neoliberalism and free market, and what they did to stand out from the crowd. Dead cows, excrement, human parts, massive inflatable dogs are but a few examples of what some call Retro Sensationalist art. Art created in order to shock, to capture our 30 seconds attention and represent a society that no longer craves for the future but fears it.
